Literary Festival

Hello Hebweb!
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed coming last night to talk at the new Literary Festival, and meeting an audience which was well up to, and beyond, my high expectations of your famous and lovely town.
It was a real treat to chat afterwards and I learned a lot from many different people, as well as meeting your local Rowntree Visionary, Geoff Tansey, my old pal Alan South who did so much to make Jonathan Silver's wonderful dreams come true at Saltaire, and lots of others.
Thanks very much to all, and specially Ross and his colleagues from the bookshop and I hope the rest of the festival goes really well. I wish I could get over to hear Anne Fine; I remember reading The Turbulent Term of Tyke Tyler with my kids and enjoying it hugely. Not to mention Mrs Doubtfire. She (AF not MD) is a true ornament of the North (like the whole of HB).
