Michael Jackson, Prince Charles, David Beckham and Tony Blair - Will Lack has certainly rubbed shoulders with a few celebs in his ten years of photography all over the world. He's not only photographed film and pop stars, but worked with highly respected individuals such as Nelson Mandella, and the not so respected like Monika Lewinski! Will's also worked for magazines such as OK! and Hello! and in his early career, Calderdale's own Halifax Evening Courier. In fact there's probably few tabloids he hasn't worked for.

But all the high life hasn't affected him, he's a Yorkshireman through and through and has a gift of making people feel at ease in front of the camera, which is obviously why he's been so successful.

Will says, "Working alongside international celebrities is a fantastic experience. However, Yorkshire is my home and where me and my growing family belong."

At his purpose built studio in Mytholmroyd, Will's experience comes into it's own where he brings some of the glamour from the celebrities and focuses on photographing families and children in a more contemporary way.

Instead of using traditional, posed photographic formats, Will uses his experience of capturing moving celebrities and encourages his subjects to relax and act normally, enabling him to capture those special moments on film.

Often photographic sessions can be daunting and the final photographs themselves uninspiring. Will's imagination, expertise and gift of getting the perfect shot, makes a session and viewing the final photographs an experience the whole family will enjoy.
