Acclaimed Irish singer/songwriter and Mercury Music Prize nominee, Lisa Hannigan, will perform a very special show with her band at Hebden Bridge Picture House, on Friday 27th November.

Lisa Hannigan first made a name for herself as collaborator and vocal partner with Damien Rice, lending her ethereal voice to the multi-platinum selling albums O and 9. Since then Lisa has built a devoted following among musicians, critics and fans alike, and has firmly established herself as an artist in her own right.

When her collaboration with Damien came to an end, Lisa was left with a notebook of songs and the desire and confidence to put them onto a record. The results are the excellent Sea Sew, which has already achieved Platinum sales status in her native Ireland and was recently nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.
