Thanks to Andy Wood for sending us the following information

1) Gardeners Days. If you want to grow food, but have no access to land, come to a Gardener's Day!

We have secured access to 3 areas of land for growing projects. Everyone is welcome.

  • Callis Community Garden, Thursday September 18th, and every Thursday thereafter, 12 noon until we've had enough! Callis Community Garden is situated next to the Rochdale Canal Towpath, approximately 2 km out of Hebden Bridge towards Todmorden.

  • Hebden Bridge Bowling Club Allotments, Saturday September 20th, and every Friday thereafter, 12 noon, meet at the bowling club. Hebden Bridge Bowling Club is at the bottom of Lee Mill Road, or can be accessed from the river path that runs from the packhorse bridge at the end of Spring Grove.

  • Pecket Well Allotments, Saturday October 26th, subsequent days to be confirmed, 12 noon. These allotments are behind Cooperative Buildings and Pecket Well College.
