Film-maker needs rowing boat Friday, 24 August 2007 Jenny Shepherd has been awarded grants from Screen Yorkshire and Hebden Royd Town Council to produce a short digital film, Void If Detached. She is planning to film in September in and around Hebden Bridge. One scene takes place with two adults in a rowing boat. Jenny has asked the Hebden Bridge Web to help find out whether anyone has a suitably sized rowing boat to lend or hire at a reasonable rate for one day, and a trailer to take it to a nearby lake where permission to film has been given? Jenny has told us, "The production will be fully insured and a safety boat will be present throughout the filming. Any damage would be made good (although every care will be taken so damage is unlikely). " There are also vacancies for two work experience positions as runners, open to reliable young people interested in gaining some initial knowledge and experience of film production. Please contact Jenny about either the rowing boat or the runners' work placement, via Jennycarlyle@aol.com.
