Glorious setting and fine weather for touching play on life of Hebden Bridge's famous photographer - Alice Longstaff.
Around forty people followed Alice Longstaff, and her husband John, around the beautiful grounds of Land Farm at Colden as they recalled Alice's long life in the photographic business in Hebden Bridge. Hebden Bridge actors Alexandra Mathie and Robert Garrett played the parts beautifully in a play written by local writer Anna Carlisle. The £10 ticket (£7 concession) includes tea and scone from 1.30 prior to the start at 2 pm and the play runs everyday, rain (inside) or shine (outside), from today to Sunday 5th August - call 844901 for tickets or log on to
