Full details of the packed event schedule are under wraps until the official launch on Saturday, but the Hebden Bridge Web can reveal that highlights will include special guests Honor Blackman and Ian McMillan, and the Festival has also stolen a march on the Edinburgh Festival by securing two star comedians before they hit Edinburgh’s Fringe.

Then, there’s a fantastic Harry Potter send-up, Potted Potted Potter; Summer Frights, an evening of horror; Poetry, Prints and Chips – in, you guessed it, a fish and chip shop, and the Feminist Antique Roadshow.

The whole two-week extravaganza kicks off with the world premiere of Can’t Chain Up Me Mind by Grand Union Orchestra.
