I have recently purchased an old rack saw which was manufactured by a firm called John Pickles & Son {Ransomes] Hebden Bridge. The saw is probably about 70 years old and was probably steam driven. Can anyone throw any light on the firm who manufactured it. Rgds John Heale

There was a foundry called T Pickles in Mytholmroyd. There is a picture of it on the Mytholmroyd website under older photos
I wonder if there is a connection
