I live in Greater Manchester and have spent many years walking around Hebden Bridge and the surounding countryside since the 1960s. My wife and I still love to walk around Harcastle Crags and areas like Widdop and Heptonstall. Hebden Bridge has always had a special place in my heart and I applaud the efforts being made by the people of the town to ward off the invasion of the developers. I have never seen so much solidarity and support for a community and I wish the good people of Hebden Bridge every success in the future.
