Accidents at Brearley Bends, Mytholmroyd

There has been another bad accident at Brearley, Mytholmroyd, two weeks after a fatal accident in November. Last Sunday, the road was closed for 3 hours. Halifax firemen attended the scene and gave first aid before the paramedics arrived and the air ambulance airlifted one of the injured to hospital.
Quote from the Halifax Courier:
"Peter Shepherdson, Calderdale Council's road-safety officer, said: "This is a road with a poor accident record and it probably always will have... He said there was currently a review of some speed limits in Calderdale and anyone could write to the council about a stretch of road they were concerned about."
Maybe it's time for Mytholmroyd residents to write those letters.
