Playing Bridge - Hebden Bridge Club

Lots of people responded to my plea late last year in the Hebden Bridge Times for bridge players to come out of their closet and get together with others to form the Hebden Bridge Club (geddit?). There's no membership and no pressure.We meet on the first Sunday in every month to play bridge in an informal, friendly atmosphere in the Upstairs room of the Stubbing Wharf Pub (7.45 for 8.00 pm start).It's open to all bridge players, with or without a partner, and is free. The 2004 dates are 7 March, 4 April, 2 May, 6 June, 4 July,1 Aug. 5 Sept, 3 Oct, 7 Nov, 5 Dec. And it's a scientific fact that regular bridge playing wards off Alzheimer's.
