Unfortunate state of certain parts of the town

I love the area, but what on earth is happening to stem the dreadful graffiti?
I visited yesterday for most of the afternoon (5th January) and parked in the central car park near the old firestation and council offices. I walked around to rekindle old memories and show a good friend of mine the charm of the area......!! Disaster. The area near the carpark and the new development (around the health centre) is seemingly blighted with the activities of morons.
Additionally, my gymnastic attempts to avoid dog muck proved futile. Bluntly, it was everywhere.
A lovely area and town with happy memories; please encourage those with some influence to deal with the matter.
I can't possibly be the only one who has noticed the above.
