From Neil H Hello all, I'm trying to find whatever information I can on Hebden Cord Ltd., for a cycling magazine article. Hebden Cord clothing was practically standard kit for British club and touring cyclists for many decades. Sadly, I know the company ceased trading a few years ago, but would welcome any info on the company from former employees, Hebden residents or local historians. Any old catalogues, photos, patterns, etc. would be fantastic. Also, if anyone knows what happened to the company, the former owners, etc. I'd be happy to hear from you. It's a shame the company closed down when it did; perhaps this was due to the dominance of the new 'technical fabrics'. But right now, there is a resurgence in demand for quality, tailored cycling wear. If Hebden Cord were around today, they'd be busier now than in the '50's heyday of British cycling. Thanks in advance, Neil,
