The date of the start of the new Caldervale Train Timetable will soon be upon us. (Details are available from Metro) For most travellers it promises to be an improved service.
However, for those travelling from Walsden and Mytholmroyd, in particular - there will be fewer trains. I would welcome evidence from those adversely affected by the new timetable, after the first couple of weeks of the service. I will gather the evidence and put it to Northern Rail and Metro.

Christine - You're only interested in collecting evidence from those adversely affected by the changes? Surely it would be more balanced and objective to collect evidence from all those affected?

Well it's the car for me now. I used to get the 0729 to Mirfield then 5 minute wait to Wakefield. Now it's 07.41 the train foolishly arrives after the Wakefield train- no connection!
