I am writing as an MSc student from University College London undertaking my dissertation research: entitled ‘Community Perceptions of renewable energy schemes’. The focus of the research is the area in and around Hebden Bridge. I was hoping that members of the forum might consider contributing to this project.

The study investigates community perception and acceptance of different types of renewable energy. In particular I am interested in looking at attitudes towards state/privately led projects such as Ovenden Moor Wind Farm and community/volunteer projects such as micro-hydro power in the Calder valley.

It would be especially helpful to hear the views of residents in and around Hebden Bridge on this matter. I am interested in hearing the views of as many people as possible.
