From Mark Wisbey Having looked at the document that Andrew Hall directed us to in his earlier post, it seems that Hebden Bridge travellers will actually benefit from an extra train service to Manchester Victoria from December, with faster journey times and less overcrowding. This as a frequent traveller is a step in the right direction. However, by removing stations from the route, such as Mytholmroyd, etc., it seems a somewhat bizarre approach, I must admit that I am all for speeding up journey times, and reducing overcrowding but perhaps the laying on of extra train carriages, especially during peak periods, would be a better approach. I can't think of one thing that would improve the service more than extra carriages!
