The idiots in our community have been active over the weekend.

Caldene Avenue - and not for the first time - was subjected to yet more vehicle vandalism over the wekend, with numerous roadside parked cars being damaged.

The "honesty box" in the Community Centre car park has now been vandalised.

What started out as a stone built structure at the entrance of the car park, and which contained a slot for payment for those parking their vehicles, has been chopped apart to reveal the whole of the metal box, and the rear of the box forced open.

Surely the continued noise resulting from this lengthy operation must have been heard by someone nearby?

The honesty box in the Luddenden Car Park was attacked over Christmas too and at around the same time as the Mytholmroyd Community Centre one. Looks like the season of good will did not last for long.
